It was developed in conjunction with a nationally known ophthalmologist. Ingredients used in 4Sight are of the utmost quality, ensuring the proper eye support. Many of the ingredients included in 4-Sight, such as lycopene and lutein, have been used in studies for their role in supporting eye health.
Why these natural ingredients?
Lipoic Acid: Alpha-lipoic acid is most widely known and used as an antioxidant. Lipoic acid is able to “recharge” other antioxidants such as vitamins E and C, and glutathione, and has been shown in studies to support optimal visual function.
Ginkgo Biloba: Ginkgo biloba has historically been used to promote blood flow and is used as an antioxidant. Some studies have shown that eye tissue has a high affinity for ginkgo, making it a logical choice for eye support.
Carotenoids (Lutein, Lycopene, Zeaxanthin): Lutein and zeaxanthin are found in high concentrations in the macula lutea portion of the eye. These two carotenoids are strong antioxidants that quench free radicals and support healthy lipid membranes. Low levels of lycopene, one of 10 carotenoids found in the serum, should be boosted for optimal eye health.
Bilberry: Bilberry extract contains high amounts of anthocyanidins, important antioxidants shown to support healthy vision.
