Panax ginseng may be contraindicated for individuals taking antiplatelet or anticoagulant medications. Eleuthero may be contraindicated for individuals taking digoxin. Gymnema sylvestre should be used with caution and under close medical supervision if combined with sulfonylurea drugs and insulin, as gymnema may provide synergistic effects.
